Three Sterling Silver Items Including a 1919 Birmingham Silver-Mounted Glass Jar - A collection of three sterling silver items comprising a faceted glass dressing table jar, a souvenir spoon, and a small fork. The cylindrical glass jar features a faceted body and a pull-off sterling silver lid, the rim of which bears the impressed marks GWJ in a rectangular shield, a lion passant, an anchor for Birmingham, and the date letter u for 1919. The souvenir spoon is designed with a barley-twist stem leading to a terminal featuring a Maltese cross within a circular frame above an intricate filigree panel, stamped 925 to the stem. The three-pronged fork has a tapered handle with a fluted shell-motif terminal and is struck to the reverse with the characters GG&S in a cartouche, alongside a crown for Sheffield, a lion passant, and the date letter r for 1909.
