Late 20th-century Highlands Stained Hardwood Three-Train Longcase Clock - A late 20th-century Highlands longcase clock, constructed from stained hardwood with a mahogany-toned finish. The case features a hood with a swan-neck pediment surmounted by three turned finials, with a glazed door flanked by turned columns. The trunk is fitted with a full-length glazed door, revealing a pendulum and two brass-cased cylindrical weights. The composite dial consists of a brushed metal face and a silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals and ornate corner spandrels. A globe graphic and banner inscribed 'Tempus Fugit' are featured in the arch. The mechanical three-train movement is weight-driven, with three winding holes to the dial face. The dial is centrally printed with the maker's name 'Highlands'. No other maker's marks, hallmarks, or signatures are visible.
