Three Late 19th and Early 20th-Century Mahogany and Stained Wood Pedestal Plant Stands - Three assorted pedestal plant stands of varying forms dating from the late 19th to early 20th-century. The group includes a dark-stained wood stand featuring a solid octagonal top with a bevelled edge, supported by a continuous barley-twist column terminating in a four-point cross-shaped base. A second torchere is crafted from mahogany in the Victorian-style, featuring a circular moulded top above a central pedestal elaborately carved with acanthus leaf motifs, gadrooned sections, and floral medallions, standing on a tripod base with cabriole legs ending in pad feet. The third piece is an Edwardian-style multi-tier mahogany whatnot, comprising a circular top with a deep moulded edge above barley-twist supports and triangular tiers; the central tier incorporates two small drawers with wooden knob pulls, while the lower tier features a circular recessed pot holder and shaped cabriole legs. No maker's marks, hallmarks, or signatures are visible on any of the stands.
