Three Pink Lustre Topographical Ceramic Souvenirs including Morecambe Scenes - A group of three commemorative and decorative ceramic pieces in the Victorian-style comprising a cream jug, an open sugar bowl, and a cabinet plate. The jug and matching bowl feature shell-moulded bodies finished with a pink lustre glaze and scalloped rims. Both are decorated with circular vignettes containing hand-tinted transfer-printed topographical views of Morecambe, Lancashire. The jug is inscribed within a ribbon banner SUMMER GARDENS FROM THE LAKE MORECAMBE, while the bowl is similarly inscribed NEW PIER, MORECAMBE. The accompanying circular white ceramic cabinet plate features a recessed centre with a sepia-toned scene depicting a stone-built church with a bell-cote. This scene bears the signature R. PARKIN to the lower right. All pieces are finished with gilt lining to the rims and vignettes. No manufacturer backstamps, factory marks, or country-of-origin marks are visible on any of the items.
