Mid-Century West German Ceramic Pitcher Vase - A West German mid-century ceramic pitcher vase of bulbous form with a single loop handle. The earthenware body is finished in a variegated ochre yellow glaze with reddish-brown speckling and accents that highlight the textured surface. The exterior is decorated with a moulded relief pattern consisting of rows of circular indentations interspersed with small vertical dashes. The flared neck is detailed with horizontal ribbing. The underside of the base is embossed with the text W-GERMANY, accompanied by the model number 284 positioned above and the number 17 below. No other maker marks or signatures are visible.
