WWII British Enamelled Steel Water Bottle in Pattern 1908 Webbing Carrier - A WWII era British military-issue water bottle, featuring an enamelled steel body beneath a hand-stitched brown wool felt insulating cover. The bottle is presented within a drab-coloured cotton webbing skeleton carrier of the Pattern 1908 design, consisting of a horizontal wrap-around band and vertical straps secured by a metal slide buckle and a single metal press stud. The neck features a metal spout finished in dark paint, fitted with a metal stopper that includes a pull ring and a frayed cord tether. No maker's marks, date stamps, or official military broad arrow marks are visible on the exterior of the webbing, wool cover, or exposed spout.
