Gallé Cameo Glass Owl Motif Lamp Shade - A Gallé cameo glass lamp shade of hemispherical dome form. The shade is crafted from multi-layered acid-etched glass, featuring a vibrant graduated background transitioning from a golden yellow base to a deep sunset orange crown. The exterior layer of dark chocolate brown glass is acid-etched to reveal a detailed nocturnal landscape populated by owls. The decoration includes a large solitary owl, a pair of owls perched together on a branch, and an owl in flight with extended wings, all set amongst textured beech branches with serrated leaves. An acid-etched relief signature reading 'Gallé' is visible to the lower side of the shade, featuring a characteristic flourish extending beneath the lettering and a distinct accent on the final character. No other factory marks or manufacturer labels are visible on the surface.
