Mid-Century G-Plan Teak Coffee Table with Inset Glass and Ceramic Tiles - A mid-century teak coffee table manufactured by G-Plan, dating to approximately the 1970s. The piece features a rectangular teak frame with a mixed-material inset top, comprising a glass pane adjacent to a set of four decorative ceramic tiles. The tiles are arranged in a square and decorated with a symmetrical scrolling foliate and geometric pattern in tones of ochre, brown, and cream. The table is supported by a sculptural trestle-style base with curved vertical supports and rounded feet, connected by a central stretcher. The underside of the table retains a square silver-coloured foil label printed with a large stylized letter G and the vertical capital letters P, L, A, N.
