Early 20th-century Carved Stained Pine Slant-Front Stationery Box - An early 20th-century slant-front stationery box constructed from dark-stained pine. The twin doors are relief-carved with a central bow and ribbon motif, opening to reveal a three-tier stepped interior with wooden dividers for envelope and paper storage. A single full-width drawer with a turned wood knob is situated at the base. The interior is fitted with four brass hinges, each stamped vertically with the characters 'F', 'L', 'O', 'R', 'A'., probably the hinge manufacturer's mark. The piece shows a prominent wood grain throughout with thumb-notch cutouts to the internal dividers. No other maker's marks, signatures, or manufacturer labels are visible.
