Vintage Carved and Turned Wooden Toys and Decorative Objects including Cabañas Cubanos Box - An assortment of vintage carved and turned wooden decorative objects and folk-art-style toys. The lot features several articulated figures, including a Pinocchio with a red spotted torso and a long pointed nose, a black and white spotted cow with pink accents, a spotted dog, and a yellow-orange carved quadruped. These figures are constructed with mechanical wooden peg or internal string joints. Also included is a rectangular carved wooden box which features incised lettering on the front reading Cabañas Cubanos beneath a carved palm tree motif. A turned wooden bowl contains various carved wooden fruit, including apples and a pear. Completing the group is a dark-stained carved wooden mask and a small orange gourd-shaped object. No other maker marks, signatures, or factory stamps are visible on the pieces.
