LARGE CYPRO-GEOMETRIC HANDLED BOWL
Ca. 1050-750 BC.A large bowl of white-painted ware decorated with elaborate geometric decor. The bowl has two opposing wishbone handles for easy handling. The interior of the bowl has a simple concentric circle design, while the exterior is decorated with rings of concentric circles, within which is a symmetrical design of cross-hatched triangles and diamonds, with intersecting chequerboard and horizontal lines.
