Swat Valley, Ca. 1200 BC.A Gandhara Grave Culture jar featuring a large rounded body, raising from a short, flat foot. The vessel narrows at the neck and flares out and upwards to form a large, funnel-shaped mouth. A stylised face, possibly an abstract representation of the deceased, would have been depicted at the front of the piece, now unfurtunately missing.
