Ca. 550 - 331 BCAn Achaemenid bead with a ribbed melon body and finials embellished with a motif of gold pearls. These intricate adornments were designed to be incorporated into necklaces consisting of single strand of beads. The gold artefacts, especially the beads, exhibit a remarkable similarity to the gold items unearthed in the Oxus Treasure, which is acknowledged as the most extensive extant assemblage of Achaemenid precious metalwork.
