WESTERN ASIATIC BRONZE MASTER OF ANIMALS SCEPTRE
Ca. 900 - 700 BCA bronze sceptre depicting a scene commonly referred to as ‘the master of animals’. A central figure grasps the necks of two fantastical animals on either side of him, and the motif is repeated on both sides of the sceptre.
