Ca. AD 619 - 906.A collection of three Tang dynasty terracotta female musicians. The figures are dressed in long dresses with a short-sleeved cropped overcoat, the outfits are painted with red, brown and green pigments. Each figure is seated while holding their instruments a guqin, a flue and cymbals. This collection has been precisely dated using a thermoluminescence analysis carried out by Ralf Kotalla.
