ANDALUSIAN CERAMIC CHALICE STAND, OR FOOD WARMER - An unglazed earthenware circular chalice, or food warmer with the remains of a green glaze to one side and two small pierced window inlets, between them remains the base of a handle. The base of the ceramic decorated with a surrounding band of incised dots and scrolls. Size: 240mm x 165mm; Weight: 3.02kg Provenance: Previous property of an Islamic art professional. Prior apart of the Henri René d’Allemagne Collection. 1979, acquired by Ahuan U.K Ltd. from M. Roderick d’Allemagne, grandson of Henri René d’Allemagne. (1836 - 1950).
