KASHAN BLUE AND BLACK PANEL-STYLE POTTERY BOWL - Ca. AD 1200 - 1300. A Kashan painted bowl of deep rounded form atop a narrow foot, painted in cobalt blue, turquoise, and black on a creamy white ground with radiating panels containing interlacing vegetal motifs and scrollwork the rim with a band of vegetal motifs radiating alternately towards the rim and overlaid with dot motifs.
