ABBASID BRONZE PERFUME BOTTLE - Ca. AD 900.A bronze bottle with an apple-shaped body, resting on a tall, flaring foot. The neck of the flask gracefully extends from the body, adorned around its upper part with an interlocking band. The funnel-shaped spout leads to a mouth decorated with a horizontal register of protruding knobs. The flat shoulder of the bottle is inscribed with text, while the main body is embellished with decorative roundels and a tendril band.
