GLAZED KASHAN POTTERY BOWL - Ca. 12th century AD. A bowl rising from a slightly spreading conical foot through to a rounded body to a widened collar. The vertical mouth with a slightly flaring rim and a short loop handle, painted with cobalt-blue and black details on a white ground with a broad band of flower heads flanked by foliate arabesques and rosettes, with a bordered band of swimming fish below.
