EGYPTIAN SOLID CORE GLASS CAST FISH - New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC.A polychrome glass 'bulti' fish, representing the 'bulti' fish common in the Nile and a standard feature of Egyptian decorative art. The body is core-built in blue glass with a matt finish, decorated with simple festoons of three or four white lines followed by a yellow line. The tail features similar colour decorations.
