PHOENICIAN EVIL EYE GLASS BEAD - Ca. 400 BC.A globular glass bead with a flattened upper and lower face, vertically perforated, crafted from black glass. Three large circles are arranged around the body, each encircling a central cream dot, resembling an eye pupil. Such ”evil eye” beads were intended to ward off misfortune and protect against harmful gazes.
