HUGE EGYPTIAN BLUE FAIENCE WADJET - Ca. 1069 - 332 BC. A faience Wadjet, an ancient ocular symbol of protection, is enveloped in sky blue glaze and finely incised with the eye components on one side, with the pupil and eyebrow delineated in black glaze.
