GREEK BRONZE MIRROR AND COVER WITH HIGH RELIEF - Ca. Late 4th century BC. A bronze mirror and cover with high relief depicting Venus and Eros. Circular in form the lid with hammered sheet repussé appliqué. The two figures are standing each on either side. Eros on the left with his wings outstretched. His left hand supporting the top bowl of the incense stand, his right arm lowered. Aphrodite to the right wears a long chiton.
