RARE HELLENISTIC PYRAMIDAL PENDANT IN GOLD MOUNT - Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A large pyramidal semi-precious stone pendant set in a gold mount, adorned with gold pellets arranged in vertical lines. The gold top is pierced horizontally and decorated with a wave-shaped gold thread. Size: 40mm x 20mm; Weight: 10g. Provenance: London collection; Ex. Mayfair collection, acquired from an Ancient Art gallery; formerly acquired on the London art market pre-2000.
