EGYPTIAN BLUE AND BLACK FAIENCE FALCON-SHAPED AMULET - New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A blue and black faience amulet in the shape of a falcon with its wings folded behind its back. This figurine represents the god Horus in his animal form, adorned with a two-feathered crown on his head. The intricate black details are characteristic of the final period of the New Kingdom.
