EGYPTIAN CARNELIAN FROG AMULET - Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A small frog figurine carved from carnelian. The charming amphibian sits up on its front legs and has retracted hind legs, a bulbous body, and a tapered head topped with a pair of recessed ovoid eyes. Pierced lengthwise.
