In ancient Egyptian symbolism, the Eye of Horus, also known as the ”wedjat” eye, represented the eye of the falcon-headed god Horus. It symbolized protection, royal power, and good health. The eye's association with Horus, the god of the sky and divine protector, conveyed a sense of watchfulness and safeguarding against malevolent forces.
