SCYTHIAN BRONZE HELMET - 'KUBAN' TYPE - Ca. 600 BC.A bronze helmet of the Kuban type, crafted as a single-piece structure. The helmet is characterised by its domed form and flared neck guard. The front of the helmet features distinct cutouts for the eyes, with sharply defined, angular contours curving inward towards the nose area. A central ridge runs longitudinally across the dome. At the apex of the dome is a prominent loop attachment, possibly for securing a crest or ornament. The lower edge of the helmet has a wide, flared neck guard curving outward to protect the back of the neck.
