ETRUSCAN BRONZE HELMET 'MONTEFORTINO' TYPE - Ca. 400 - 350 BC.A bronze helmet of the Montefortino type, featuring a domed form that closely resembles a jockey cap. The helmet consists of a one-piece bowl constructed from cast, and hammered bronze. The apex is crowned with a protruding knob, serving as a decorative and functional element. The rim of the helmet is outwardly turned and subtly peaked at the rear.
