PAIR OF ROMAN TERRACOTTA BOTTLES - Ca. AD 100 - 300.A pair of terra sigillata bottles presenting a discoid applied foot and a bulbous body that tapers to a slender, cylindrical neck, and a tiered, annular rim, and strap handle. Additionally, the body and neck are adorned with a series of incised bands. The lustrous red surface slip is characteristic of terra sigillata examples from Ancient Rome.
