ROMAN GOLD RING WITH BANDED AGATE INTAGLIO DEPICTING MERCURY - Ca. AD 200 - 300 .A banded agate intaglio, oval-shaped and convex, depicting the standing figure of Mercury, the messenger god. He is shown slightly turned, holding a long staff in his left hand, while his right hand is outstretched, grasping a money bag.
