MASSIVE EGYPTIAN FAIENCE DJED AMULET
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A green faience djed amulet with a tall, rectangular shaft widening at the base and surmounted by four horizontal bars of equal length. The base is flat and unworked. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
