CYPRUS POTTERY BARREL-SHAPED JUG - Cypro-Archaic I, Ca. 750 - 600 BC. A pottery jug with a barrel-shaped body, slightly pointed at each end and featuring a nipple-like detail at the centre of concentric circle decoration. Broad shoulders taper into a narrow neck with a pronounced rim. The light beige surface is adorned with dark brown painted bands encircling the vessel. Circular motifs with concentric lines are clustered at the midsection and below the double handle at the back.
