DAUNIAN BICHROME SHALLOW BOWL - Ca. 550 - 450 BC. A shallow bichrome terracotta bowl with a broad, gently sloping interior. The central area is decorated with a circular motif comprising a thick band enclosing a smaller ring, bisected by a horizontal line. Surrounding this, a sequence of concentric circles extends outward, interrupted by a scalloped pattern formed of alternating dark and light semicircles. The outermost band follows the contour of the rim and two small perforations are positioned near the edge. The underside is plain.
