ETRUSCAN TERRACOTTA AMPHORA RED ON WHITE - Ca. 650 - 600 BC. A terracotta amphora with a large ovoid body that gently tapers towards a thick ring base. The short neck transitions into a slightly everted rim. Two small, looped handles are affixed to the upper body. The surface is decorated with a red-painted geometric pattern over a light background, consisting of parallel bands encircling the shoulder and a frieze of zigzag with dots above.
