ETRUSCO-CORINTHIAN POTTERY ARYBALLOS WITH HOPLITES - Ca. 600 - 500 BC. A pottery aryballos with a rounded body, a short cylindrical neck, and a wide, flaring rim decorated with a row of evenly spaced black dots along its outer edge. The neck is adorned with a radial pattern of black lines extending outward from its base. The shoulder features concentric black bands. The body is decorated with a continuous frieze of hoplite warriors depicted in profile, each holding a round shield. The figures are outlined in black, with red used for the shields and garments.
