HELLENISTIC TERRACOTTA FEMALE FIGURINE - Ca. 250 - 150 BC. A terracotta figurine of a female depicted standing with her weight shifted slightly to one side. She wears a long, flowing garment that drapes over her body. One arm is bent at the elbow, with the hand held near the chest, while the other hangs at her side. The head is slightly tilted, with delicately modelled facial features. The hair is arranged in an elaborate style, with sections pulled back and gathered into a knot at the back of the head, partially covered by a veil or headdress. A vent hole is present at the back.
