HELLENISTIC TERRACOTTA HEAD OF SATYR - Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A terracotta head of a satyr with a broad face and exaggerated features. The deeply furrowed brow overhangs the recessed eyes, while the broad nose is prominently defined. The mouth is slightly open, and the full cheeks are rounded. Thick locks of hair frame the face.
