SUPERB EGYPTIAN SERPENTINE MUMMIFORM USHABTI - Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2040 - 1785 BC. An exquisite serpentine ushabti in mummiform shape with a slender, elongated body tapering towards a rounded base. The head is framed by a tripartite wig extending down the shoulders, with detailed facial features including almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and a slightly curved mouth. The arms are positioned close to the body without visible implements or crossed hands. The back is smoothly finished.
