EGYPTIAN MOSAIC GLASS INLAY - Ca. 332 BC - AD 200. A fragmentary mosaic glass inlay with a central composition featuring three parallel red bands against a turquoise background, bordered at the bottom by a dark outline and above by a blue section with white elements. To the right, a cobalt blue field contains a lotus flower with a white receptacle, pale blue petals, and a red centre. The entire design is framed by bands with alternating flower heads.
