Morrocco, North Africa, Ca. 20th century AD. A ceramic vase of baluster form with a flaring rim, raised foot, and distinctive loop handles. The body is adorned with intricate polychrome designs, displaying interwoven floral motifs, arabesques, and geometric patterns in vibrant shades of cobalt blue, turquoise, yellow, and green. The hand-painted details showcase the signature style of Fes pottery, known for its refined compositions and vibrant colour palette.
