CHINESE TANG DYNASTY TERRACOTTA DANCER - TL TESTED - Ca. AD 618 - 907. A painted terracotta figurine of a dancer, standing with both arms raised and curved outward. The figure wears a long, flowing robe with dramatically flared sleeves and traces of red and white pigment preserved across the garment. The hair is arranged in a high topknot, and facial features are carefully rendered with delicate black and red lines.
