LARGE INDUS VALLEY HARAPPA PAINTED JAR - Ca. 2500 - 2000 BC. A large ovoid jar with flaring neck and pronounced rim, painted with a continuous band of overlapping lozenge motifs encircling the body, each enclosing a central dot. The shoulder is decorated with an alternating pattern of concentric circles, lozenges and triangles in a red and black palette, while the neck features a stylised plant design.
