COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN LAPIS LAZULI INLAYS DEPICTING THE FOUR SONS OF HORUS - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A collection of four lapis lazuli inlays, each representing one of the Four Sons of Horus - protective deities associated with the canopic jars used during mummification. Each figure is shown seated in profile with hands resting on the knees. The set comprises: Duamutef, with a jackal head and upright ears; Hapy, with a baboon head; Qebehsenuef, with a falcon head and curved beak; and Imsety, with a human head and tripartite wig.
