EGYPTIAN FAIENCE BES BOTTLE - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A faience bottle with a short, funnel-shaped neck and a rounded body decorated with a moulded face of Bes. The deity is depicted with a broad nose, furrowed brow, and protruding tongue. His headdress is marked with incised lines, extending around the upper portion of the vessel.
