EGYPTIAN FAIENCE SEKHMET AMULET - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A faience amulet depicting a standing lion-headed goddess Sekhmet. The figure wears a tripartite wig and a solar disc atop the head. The arms are positioned close to the body, and the legs extend down to a small integral base.
