PHOENICIAN TERRACOTTA STANDING MALE FIGURE IN A POSE OF PRAYER OR BLESSING - Ca. 6th - 4th century BCA sculpture representing a man, executed in a more archaic technique without detailed rendering of the clothing or facial features, and incorporating Egyptian elements such as the forward-stepping leg. The sculpture is part of a group of Phoenician terracottas discovered underwater in the 1950s.
