EGYPTIAN FAIENCE BEAD NET FUNERARY SHROUD - New Kingdom to Late Period, Ca. 1550 - 332 BC. A funerary bead net made from faience tubular beads interspersed with small rings in varying shades of green, blue, and turquoise, strung together in a lattice pattern. Red and yellow disc beads form a narrow border along all sides. The net would originally have been placed over the mummy as a protective funerary covering.
