CYPRIOT LIMESTONE STATUE OF A VOTARY - Ca. 600 - 500 BC. A standing figure of a votary carved from limestone, depicted with a broad face and short hair. He wears a close-fitting garment with a segmented edge draped from the left shoulder. His right arm hangs straight at the side, while the left is bent at the elbow and held to the chest. The feet are set upon an integral base. The reverse of the figure is worked flat.
