RARE DAUNIAN TWO-SPOUTED ASKOS WITH STRAINER - Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A rare askos with a globular body, cylindrical neck, and a pair of horizontal handles at the midsection. Two vertical spouts rise from the shoulder, one pierced with multiple holes to serve as a strainer. The buff-coloured surface is decorated in dark pigment with linear, curvilinear, and geometric bands, including spirals, meanders, chevrons, and net patterns. A frieze of stylised vegetal motifs, star rosettes, and scattered figural elements encircles the base and midsection.
